Welcome — I’m Gez Xavier Mansfield, a Hunter Valley and Newcastle-based wedding photographer with over 12 years’ experience capturing real moments for fun, down-to-earth couples.

When I’m not behind the camera you’ll find me living family life, painting, tending veggie beds and flower patches, or out on a long run — I genuinely love being outdoors, whatever the weather. I’m a devoted coffee seeker (I’ll happily detour for a great cup).

Food-wise I’m torn between a wood-fired pizza and a warming chicken green curry.

Some bits about me: my favourite overseas trip was trekking to Everest Base Camp.

My first car was a 1987 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon (I still miss it). I grew up on punk and pop-punk — New Found Glory, All Time Low, The Story So Far and Blink were on repeat.

Born in Sydney, I grew up with four siblings, to later follow my passion in theatre, film and event design, graduating from NIDA in 2012.

Photography for me is about people and connection.

I value the little moments, believe less is more, and always draw inspiration from nature, allowing natural light and landscape shape honest, timeless images.
