A mild sun-blessed afternoon in the backstreets of Carrington set the scene for this beautiful shoot. A now popular spot for couples wanting to get the most out of their 'engagement period'.
Laura and Andrew had nothing to worry about bar themselves when it came to being in front of the camera. Hhhhhhheaps of open space, gorgeous industrial sized walls and pockets of lit up laneways where the sun danced around walls and chainlinked fence as much as the subjects nerves did.
Under all that ice, we found the gorgeous connection these two have for each other. Yes - I say we. Because I can't do this alone. And nor can they. Personal jokes, long patches of silence and movement through new learnt dance helped create this visual story you see here...all with an under-towing element of relaxation.
Racing light and dealing with Friday night traffic. Fun times ahead. But we jumped into the cars and headed for Nobby's anyway to catch the last of it.
Mehhh...met by clouds and cloud like shaddows. A good luck charm for the wedding day i believe.
Just remember, you can't possibly have an amazing sunset on both your engagement shoot and your wedding day.... can you?
More from them below - and less from me. Im off to crank more Yoste, crack and beer and prep for Saturday's wedding!

Whats the funniest relationship story you can tell?
Went out for dinner and separated from our friends and got lost in Tokyo on our first night there...
Couldn’t remember our hotel name or where it was.....
Tried to backtrack our trip from the airport but then got lost in the subway and couldn’t find our way back out to the surface!
Andy was freaking out! But we chilled out and after a few hours finally got lucky after walking many many blocks and streets.
How did you become engaged? Details please!
Christmas in Whistler, just got to the top of Blackcomb mountain on Xmas morning with our mates. All taking photos of the epic view off the mountain and then the best man who was in on the planning was pretending to photograph Andy & I with the view and then Andy got down on one knee and proposed. I blubbered so much with joy I fogged up my ski goggles! Haha.
Why did you choose/choosing this style of shoot for your engagement photos?
