The last few weeks we have been blessed with some amazing winter sunset's, so what better time to celebrate this than to have a photoshoot to remember the week before your baby's being brought into this big, wide world!
Great friends of mine, Meredith and Dave were keen to have natural some shots taken of them one afternoon before their bundle of joy had arrived to remember this time as it was.
A big belly, 'laughter' and 'amazing sunset' are the perfect words you'd love to remind yourselves of your very own maternity shoot, and this session was nothing short of that at all.
Dave - being a regular beach goer at Dixon Park, seemed that the local hot spot of Nobby's Beach was the perfect place to hold this shoot. And for those who don't know Nobby's...it's where the "Pasha Bulker" run aground 10 years ago after a famous heavy Newcastle storm.
I let them know that I was going to be shooting this afternoon session like it was a normal engagement shoot, allowing them not to worry about the 'belly' at all. hehe
This allowed them to have some fun, for me to find some great angles, and for them to be blown away with the naturalness of themselves in front of the camera. Location and timing are the key here...not to mention a little bit of luck as well.
All in all...a beautiful shoot and some amazing memories for them to cherish, forever!
